Shou Sugi Ban is an ancient Japanese technique of burning wood used for both the beautiful natural charcoal blackness coloring and variety the crackled, alligator skin like textures that appear which charring brings out.
Each candle holder is a rarity unto itself and makes an artistic centerpiece for any room in your home. If you’re looking for a conversation starter for guests and friends, this is definitely it.
The holders feature rounded glass tealight candle cups that sit on a slightly recessed black epoxy poured base. The outstanding look of these candle holders are complimented on the bottom side with low profile non-skid feet and stainless steel hardware.
These pieces have been sealed with epoxy and then varnish coated to protect wood and charred areas.
