Simplicity and sophistication in one light.
These large solid wood light bases are produced by using beautifully preserved, reclaimed Douglas Fir, engineered for end grain patterning that’s unique to old growth wood.
The golden coppery hue of Fir when oiled brings a warmth to any room, even when the light is not on. This simple piece can enhance any room, and when switched on the Edison bulb provides a warm rich glow creating a relaxing ambiance.
This light was created so the socket sits just above the base, so that the bulb and wood grain are its highlighted features.
Since wood is an organic product, no two light bases will look exactly the same.
If ordering two as a set, we will best match block style and end grain patterning if possible.

Sockets come with a 3-way switch in case you choose to use a modern 3 way bulb, or it’s just an extra click when using an Edison bulb. All lights feature an 8 foot antique style cloth covered cord.
