The Kitchen Wild
My name is Katie Wiley, otherwise know as The Kitchen Wild. I live along the picturesque central Oregon coast with my husband of fifteen years, our three beautiful children, three cats and 16 chickens. I love creating and sharing nature-inspired recipes with wild ingredients that are seasonably available here in the Pacific Northwest.
Our meals come from constant adventure, teaching our little ones some of life’s most valuable skills and living our lives together as a family to the absolute fullest.
The Kitchen Wild is about more than just food, it’s a way of life. It’s about getting back to basics, creating real food from real ingredients sourced directly from nature and having a great time doing it.
